Admission into 200 level
When you undertake the programme at the Gemstone Institute of Advanced Studies and passed your courses very well, the results and certificate obtained can be used to gain admission into 200 Level (Direct Entry) in more than 80 per cent of Nigerian universities.
Some universities abroad are already considering admission with IJMB certificates.
Standard Learning Facilities
Gemstone Institute of Advanced Studies has standard and well-equipped science laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture, and Information Technology. Our E-learning Library facility equally adds quality and value to our standard of learning at GIAS.
We do not limit our students learning only to academic work. Our sporting facilities will also provide a means of physiological development of our students.
Qualified Lecturers
In line with the guidance provided by ABU, Zaria to GIAS as an Affiliated Centre, the Institute employes qualified lecturers who are professional in their disciplines.
We also improve their capacities through related training programmes. Our Lecturers are very passionate about their job and they also mentor our students by advising them on their future careers.
Safe and Serene Environment
Our 3 hectares of land consisting of the present infrastructure developments is fenced round to provide an initial sense of security. Apart from this, the Community where the School is located takes security as a critical factor for the safety of the people in the community.
Additionally, the school also has 24-hour standby security personnel in place. The School is located away from the holly-bolly of the city Centre. It is in a quiet but accessible area that is very conducive for learning and other activities especially sports.
